I grew up in Howard County Maryland, and for a brief time lived on the island of Maui. I attended Glenelg High School in western Howard County before graduating with honors from Salisbury University with a Bachelor’s degree in international relations in 2010.

Upon graduation, I moved to Crofton with the goal of becoming actively involved in my new community. I began working for local political campaigns and later the Maryland ICBN program, which provided me with a great deal of knowledge about the area and people. A few years ago I decided to take these experiences and use it for something that made me happy... and I became a Realtor in the state of Maryland. I love what I do and wouldn't change it for the world!

Samantha Magnolia was born in Washington, DC, but was raised in Maryland. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis, she attended Frostburg State University in Western Maryland. She graduated from Frostburg with a Business Administration degree, majoring in marketing and minoring in management.

After graduation, she moved back home to Anne Arundel County, where she is now a high energy, hardworking, full time, all-service Realtor.

In her spare time Samantha enjoys boating, going to the movies, going to the beach, attending sporting events as well as hanging out with her family and friends in Annapolis. Samantha looks forward to every summer in Annapolis, especially because Maryland crabs are in season! She grew up on the waterfront, so she knows it well!

Linda has lived in the Annapolis/Anne Arundel county area since 1987. Although she specializes in luxury and waterfront properties in and around Anne Arundel County, her local knowledge and expertise extends to Calvert, Queen Anne’s, Prince Georges, Montgomery and Howard Counties as well as working with first time homebuyers.

Prior to joining Blackwell Real Estate, Linda was a perennial Top Producer at one of Keller Willams’ largest and most successful offices.

With her interior design and staging skills, Linda helps sellers stage their homes to showcase their unique features. She helps her clients with advice on the right color palette, placement of furniture, decluttering, lighting, décor, etc. to showcase their home’s unique features and characteristics. Linda has the ability to stage and market a property to sell it quickly at the highest possible price in today’s market!

Linda also loves working with buyers, finding the perfect home to fit their needs. Linda loves giving back to her community as a girl scout leader and volunteer with several agencies including the Chrysalis House in Crownsville, Maryland. She has been married to her husband, Tim, since 1982 and has two grown daughters, Stacy and Christina. She loves playing tennis, socializing with friends and travelling with her family.

A native of Peru, Luciana came to the U.S. through the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program in 1993 and has, since, enjoyed a diverse career in both,the private and public sectors having worked for several companies as well as the State Government.

Ms. Baca-Hager was an International Account Manager for New Pig Corporation based in Pennsylvania, where she was in charge of International Sales for Latin American and the Caribe Regions. She worked, briefly, as a Loan Processor in Virginia and then became the Office Manager for Triangle Quality Foods, LLC, marketing and distributing food products in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. She has worked in the Telecommunication industry as a Call Center Supervisor for Atlantic Broadband in Western Maryland and later, as Manager for the Eastern Shore Offices located in Grasonville, MD and Middletown, DE.

Ms. Baca-Hager received a Bachelor’s Degree from Frostburg State University, where she double majored in International Studies with a concentration in Business and in Foreign Languages & Literature.

Dessie Diamond comes to us with a knowledgeable sales background. A retired government service supervisor and manager of 33 years, Dessie has extensive training in leadership, and persuasion techniques. Dessie believes that an informed client can make the best decision for themselves. “Knowledge is power” is one of her favorite mantras. Integrity and ethics drive her relationships with her clients, and in all areas of her life. Dessie believes that trust is sacred; it should not be taken lightly. Dessie is a native Washingtonian and has made Maryland her home for the last 13 years. She has two adult children, and three adult grandchildren. Family is extremely important to her. 

Dessie has a plethora of interests, which include traveling, hiking, singing, dancing, acting (needs lessons), enjoys the arts in all forms, enjoys tasting exotic foods. Listening is one of her best traits. Dessie is also an avid reader and uses audiobooks to her advantage. She is a lifelong learner. Dessie holds a BA from Potomac College, and an MS in Organizational Psychology for American Intercontinental University Online. 

Lynn is a wife of a retired Navy veteran, currently living in Odenton, MD with her husband, and they both proudly embrace and very involved with the Military community. Lynn is originally from Hawaii and was in the Real Estate Industry for over a decade. She is experienced in residential sales, residential property management, and commercial/industrial property management.

Lynn paused her Hawaii real estate career in 2004 when her husband pursued a short-term position with the United States Air Force in Ramstein, Germany. Her goal was to resume her real estate career once they returned from Germany, but unbeknownst to her, their European tour would last 15 years.  Upon their return from Germany, Lynn started the process to obtain her Real Estate license and get back to a career she was passionate about, Real Estate.  She understands the challenges and hardships that military families endure during a military relocation.especially the short notice moves, single-spouse anxiety, and residential decisions during urgent deployments. Lynn’s goal is to alleviate that stress by providing her military family clients with a professional service to help ease with an engaging transition for her clients.

Somer started her journey in real estate as an Licensed Executive Assistant 8 years ago for her now broker and mentor, James Blackwell. The extensive knowledge and experience she has gained over the years has provided her with valuable skills that she uses daily in educating homebuyers and sellers. Knowing first hand that buying or selling a home is significant, Somer listens to her clients wants and needs and meticulously guides them through the entire process while working tirelessly on their behalf to make it an enjoyable experience. 

Somer lives in Gambrills with her husband, Michael. They welcomed their first son, Michael, Jr. late into 2019. They also have a dog, Peanut, who is still adjusting to not being the only child. Born and raised in Bowie, Maryland, Somer grew up and still is a loyal Washington Football Team fan, loves traveling, spending time at the beach, and is always happiest making new memories with her family!
