Somer started her journey in real estate as an Licensed Executive Assistant 8 years ago for her now broker and mentor, James Blackwell. The extensive knowledge and experience she has gained over the years has provided her with valuable skills that she uses daily in educating homebuyers and sellers. Knowing first hand that buying or selling a home is significant, Somer listens to her clients wants and needs and meticulously guides them through the entire process while working tirelessly on their behalf to make it an enjoyable experience. 

Somer lives in Gambrills with her husband, Michael. They welcomed their first son, Michael, Jr. late into 2019. They also have a dog, Peanut, who is still adjusting to not being the only child. Born and raised in Bowie, Maryland, Somer grew up and still is a loyal Washington Football Team fan, loves traveling, spending time at the beach, and is always happiest making new memories with her family!
